This is an example of some of the latest work I have been doing. I call them Pot Holders because they are about that size. They are fabric collages with stitching and beads. I took an on-line class and learned how to do this. See joggles.com and Susan Sorrell if you're interested.
This picture shows the work in progress. It's finished now, but I haven't taken another photo. I've also made another Porcupine, bigger with lots more beads. I'll post that one on here too. Why not?
The other art I have been doing for a long time is handmade paper (which I've stopped doing, altho' I love making paper -- the process --both Western & Oriental papermaking) and I'm now doing things ON paper. I can have lots of fun with color. May post a couple of those here too.
Why not? (Hey, it's 4AM and I can't sleep -- as usual. I have a sleeping problem.)
